SAILING FOR ADULTS Sailing Short Course
This short course (one day) on Standley Lake is designed for those who are anxious to get their feet wet. This is a great introduction to sailing or refresher course for those who feel a little rusty. Basics of rigging the boat, 5 points of sail, tacking, getting underway, safe sailing procedures, self rescue and rules of the road are discussed, then it is off to practice what you have learned. Tuition includes sailboat, instruction and a park pass.
