Ages 8 to 17

LEARN TO SAIL

Fun in the sun! Children will experience the exhilaration of sailing in a safe and controlled environment. Standley Lake is an ideal place to learn sailing. Classes are taught by certified sailing instructors. This five day learn to sail program allows parents to choose a week that best fit their busy schedule.

Using a Sunfish, youngsters learn sailboat handling, right of way rules, capsize recovery and marine safety. Program hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. Instruction, sailboats, park pass and safety equipment are included. Bring bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, lunch and drinking water.
