CHERRY CREEK 2009 JUNIOR SAILING YOUTH (AGES 8-17)
LEARN-TO-SAIL INTERMEDIATE SAILING ADVANCED SAILING RACING CAMP
Cherry Creek State Park is an ideal place to learn sailing. Children will experience the exhilaration of sailing in a safe and controlled environment. Community Sailing's classes are taught by Red Cross, U.S. Sail and Community Sailing certified instructors. Youngsters must know how to swim. Youth under 18 must have written proof of ability to swim 25 yards and float for 5 minutes in sailing clothes (t-shirt, bathing suit and sneakers). Instruction, sailboats and safety equipment are included. Youth meet at Community Sailing of Colorado, Ltd's sailing beach and shelter at the Cherry Creek Marina, located on the northwest side of the lake. Cherry Creek is easily accessible by car or bicycle via the park's northwest or east entrance or by walking and public transportation from the northwest entrance. Call 303-757-7718 for information or to register. Important: A Colorado Parks Pass is required to enter Cherry Creek State Park and is NOT included in CSC's tuition.
